Ultimate Agave Flight


Tequila flights are a great way to discover new tequila brands and compare flavor notes. At Mazatlan, we hand-selected a few of our favorite tequilas to feature on our Ultimate Agave Flight, including Gran Patron Platinum, Don Julio 1942, and Jose Cuervo's Reserva de la Familia. Each of these tequila tasters is high-end and smooth on the palette for the ultimate tequila tasting experience.


Platinum Agave Flight


Platinum (also known as Blanco, white, or silver) tequilas are characterized by their clear appearance that resembles vodka. These tequilas are bottled right after the distillation process instead of aging, resulting in a sharper, more herbal taste. For our Platinum Agave Flight, we selected a sampling of Patron Silver, Milagro Silver, and Don Julio Silver.


Reposado Flight


Reposado tequila means that the tequila has rested in barrels for an extended period to complete the aging process. Many people find that the reposado tequilas are milder and smoother with distinct agave notes because of the aging process. Our reposado tequila selections include Cazadores Reposado, Corzo Reposado, and Don Julio Reposado.


Anejo Flight


An Anejo tequila is categorized as a tequila aged in oak barrels for at least a year. The result is a richer, golden-colored tequila favorable for sipping instead of adding to cocktails. The Anejo tequilas highlighted on our Anejo flight are Tres Generaciones, Patron Anejo, and Cazadores Anejo.
